Why I Teach
A personal reflection from Acharya Vishweshwara.
My vision is simple: that every person of Indian heritage — wherever in the world they live — should have access to this living tradition. Not the edited version. Not the popularised version. The actual thing, as it was transmitted in the Gurukula, with correct Svara, correct grammar, and correct understanding.
The internet has made geography irrelevant. A child in New York can learn the Gītā exactly as a child in Bangalore would. An NRI in Dubai can hear the Veda chanted with the same precision as at Veda Vijnana Gurukulam. That is the miracle of this age — and I intend to use it fully.
The Gurukula gave me knowledge for free, sustained by generations of support and devotion. Teaching is my way of repaying that gift — not to the institution, but to the tradition itself.

Vishweshwara completed 7 years (2018–2025) of residential study at Veda Vijnana Gurukulam, Janaseva Trust, Channenahalli, Bangalore — one of South India's premier Vedic institutions. His formation is among the most rigorous available in the living tradition today.
